I mustache for a moment of your time. I’m still having fun with this month’s TCP release and getting ready for Father’s Day! When I saw the Hipster Cutables SVGs, I got an idea in my head for a shaker card. They remind me of those magnetic mustache toys where you use the magnet wand to move the iron shavings and change the guy’s hair, mustache, and/or beard. I don’t have iron shavings, but ground coffee gave me the look I wanted! I arranged the four mustaches in Canvas Workspace, and then framed them with the postage stamp from the Four Seasons Stamps Cutable SVGs. I wanted the sentiment to say “Thanks, Dad” but I didn’t have that, so I made it with a “Thanks” from Wheel Love and spelled out “DAD” using Baby Doll Alphabet.
The inside sentiment was made using Tired Panda font which I had downloaded as a freebie from The Hungry JPEG. Here’s the best part of this card–I had mustaches left over to make two more cards! I took the four mustaches that I cut out of blue paper and colored them with a black Sharpie. Then I popped them up with some fun sentiments.
