It’s Teapot Tuesday! And since it’s the last Tuesday of the month, that means we’re sending our cards to each other! Sandy gave us a very fun challenge she calls “A Reflection of Your Collection.” I’m looking forward to seeing everyone else’s collection in the gallery. I always enjoy learning about my teapotter friends interests with challenges like this. My card is based on my mug collection. I have a mug from everywhere I’ve ever been and also mugs from places my friends have been. It all started in middle school and high school when my best friend, Bridget, and I would buy each other mugs each time we went anywhere on vacation. I have a whole cabinet dedicated to my mug collection. My favorite one is the one from South Dakota, although I also really love my Statue of Liberty mug. I knew I had a Mt. Rushmore sticker in my collection, so I dug through my stickers to find some to decorate my mugs. Turns out I only needed this one. It was a big sticker for the top of a scrapbook page that said “United States” and had the trees, Mt. Rushmore, The Gateway Arch (I also have a mug from there), and the Statue of Liberty. They needed a flag tablecloth to rest on (I have one of those too!). I had so much fun making this card. Here is my mug collection.
