Stampers Delights June Release – Chibi Smile

Today we’re celebrating the  Stampers Delights  June release of Chibi-Smile.  Isn’t she so fun! You can find the June release here.

I made this card for one of my best friends.  Don’t we all have that one friend with whom we share so many memories and inside jokes?  That friend that you sing silly songs with?  That’s Jess.  My “first Lakeville friend” who I bonded with over our love for Del Shannon’s Runaway.  On this card, cartoon Jess is singing her classic Whitney Houston Medley.  We think we are hilarious.

I cut the stamp out using my ScanNCut and really enjoyed coloring her with my Copics.  Skin: R20, E11, E00, E000 | Hair: E31, E35, E44, E47

I finished her off with Nuvo Crystal Glaze on her eyes and headphones to give them some extra shine.  She looks like such a superstar singing along to her mixed tape that she needed a fabulous background.  I grabbed this leftover nail polish marbling background from my drawer.  I think that’s my last one.  I might need to make some more.  I also grabbed some fun foam stars and covered them with Stickles.

Stampers Delights June Release – Believe in Yourself

I’ve joined the Stampers Delights  Design Team as a Guest Designer!  I just love the fun Stampers Delights stamps.  So much cuteness!  You can find the June release here.  This card uses the Anime Believe in Yourself digital stamp.

I cut her out using my ScanNCut and really enjoyed coloring her with my Copics.  Skin: R20, E15, E11, E00 | Hair: E31, E35, E44, E47 | Clothes: B39, B95, B93, B63, B60

I finished her off with Nuvo Crystal Glaze on the lollipop and eyes to give them some extra shine.  I needed a fun and colorful background, so I grabbed these scraps of watercolor paper off my desk.  I’ve been using these small scraps of watercolor paper to soak up the ink left on my mat after I watercolor.  And I happened to have a beautiful rainbow of scraps. I framed her up with some stitched die cuts and added the sentiment “Smile, It looks great on you!” stamped in Versafine Clair ink.

Love this Nix Elf.  He reminds me of Link from The Legend of Zelda.  I think I’ll be using him for my brother’s birthday card.
